$100,000 Check Awarded from National Magazine Exchange

It’s always fun to hear about people who strike it rich.  Well, now you can enjoy hearing about Cindy Helbling of Pittsburgh, PA.   She is the latest winner of the National Magazine Exchange 2009 “Strike It Rich” VI Early Bird Sweepstakes.  She was just awarded a $100,000 check for the sweepstakes that she entered in February of 2008.

As she said, “Winning has made such a difference in my life. I’m so glad I entered.” National Magazine Exchange, a division of ThinkDirect Marketing Group, is the only sponsor of the “Strike It Rich” sweepstakes and they also offer the $100,000 Early Bird prize to create more winning chances.

A Winning Gift

Sometimes, it’s difficult to know what to purchase a child for his birthday.  Yet another water gun, a bouncy ball or an art set will probably be tossed aside and forgotten about within minutes.  What will make a lasting impression – and build on literacy skills?  A magazine subscription! If you hit the target right, and find a magazine topic that the child loves, you’ll have a gift that keeps on giving.

If you know the child well, you can probably figure out what National Magazine Exchange magazine to purchase.  With almost any topic under the sun available, you’ll be able to find a magazine on skiing, sailing, animals, hiking, hunting, cars, and more.  Today’s children definitely don’t read as much as they could – and a magazine subscription from National Magazine Exchange or another location will promote literacy.

Giving a magazine subscription is a winning gift.  You win because you’ve thought of something creative, thoughtful and inexpensive.  They win because they will be working on their reading skills while enjoying themselves.  And it doesn’t get much better than that!

Valentine's Day Gift Ideas

Valentine’s Day is really – really – just around the corner.  It’s time to get cracking if you haven’t already gotten your special someone a gift. Here are a few suggestions that you can do at the last minute and still be in your loved one’s good graces.

1.      Flowers – You can always give flowers. The best thing about this gift is that it’s supposed to be given at the last minute so you won’t be behind if you haven’t done anything yet!

2.      Magazine subscriptions – One of the best things about a magazine subscription is that it’s a gift that keeps on giving.  You order the subscription now from National Magazine Exchange or another company, but it keeps on giving for a year or more.  You can create a cute little certificate to give to your loved one on February 14 explaining what you bought, since you won’t have anything to hand to her or him.

3.      Lingerie – There is still time to run out and buy some cute and sexy lingerie for the big day.

Create a Magazine Exchange

Certainly, in a down economy, everyone wants to find ways to save money.  People often get creative and start pinching pennies in many different ways.  Some people will decide to start depriving themselves of certain luxury items – their great morning coffee run, their favorite ice cream scoops, or their magazines.  National Magazine Exchange certainly wants you to save in this economy – and you can do so without skimping on some of your favorites.  Here’s how.

Rather than giving up your favorite magazines when your budget tightens, you can, instead, do a magazine exchange with friends.  What would this entail? A magazine exchange means that you keep ordering some of your magazines, and you create an exchange with a friend.  Of course, you’ll want to make sure that your friend orders magazines that you will enjoy, and that you have selections that she will also enjoy.

And then – for half the price, you both have the opportunity to read all of the magazines that you love.  This is a great, creative way to save money, while still enjoying your reading materials.
